Iain has more than 30 years of successful business experience leading commercial teams in the field of high technology applications. This has been achieved primarily in the performance automotive sector but also through diversification into the aerospace, off-highway, marine, emerging markets and commercial vehicle sectors.

Iain’s most recent experience has been in his role as the Business Development Director of Williams Advanced Engineering where he has been a contributing factor to the rapid growth of the company over the last 5 years, he led the Commercial, Business Development and Marketing teams in his role there and Williams was able to establish itself as a world leader in high-performance electrification across many sectors. Prior to this Iain was a board-level Director of Ricardo Performance Products with responsibility for Transmission Systems. He was an electronic engineer originally, starting out with Ferranti (now Bae Systems) working on aircraft navigation systems before moving to the automotive sector with Bosch and then onto Pi Research (successfully acquired by Ford Motor Company in 1999), Iain is also currently the Chairman of the Motorsport Industry Association where he was appointed to this role in 2017.
